Wolds Candle Co
Wolds candle co was founded by Vicky in June 2021 who creates all of her candles locally in Horncastle. All of the Wold’s candle co’s wax is soy wax or a blend of soy and coconut wax.
Soy wax is derived from soybeans, soy wax is more environmentally friendly for this reason as paraffin wax, which is usually used to make candles, comes from non renewable resources such as coal, petroleum or oil shale. This also means that candles made from soy wax produce less soot than those made of paraffin and are clean burning so there are no toxins, carcinogens or pollutants, making it much better for your health.
Soy wax burns 40-50% slower than paraffin wax meaning you get better value for money from your candles, they also release the scent better meaning your candle smells better.
We feel very honoured and special that we are the first store stocking Wolds Candle Co and hope we can support Vicky on her journey. Her candles smell divine and they must be tried. Why not pop into the store today to smell them?
