The Yorkshire House Competition

Win a 2 night stay in this beautiful stone cottage nestled in the heart of Yorkshire Dales starting at just £5.00! Each entry purchased gets you one ticket into the draw, buy multiple tickets to increase your chances . 

Relax and unwind on our cosy cottages front porch after a full day exploring what Yorkshire’s popular area of outstanding natural beauty has to offer. Looking out over the extensive views of gorgeous rolling countryside with a glass of fizz will have you not wanting to leave.

Our two bed cottage comes with a King size bed for the adults, bunk beds for the kids, board games for all and we welcome pets to ensure the whole family can enjoy the holiday.

The property has been newly renovated, the downstairs is open plan with a kitchen and living room.

Upstairs we have two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with bunk beds.
There is a bathroom with a shower.
We have a courtyard garden to the rear and a porch to the front with a bench to admire the beautiful views.

Competition closes December 24th at noon. With the winner announced at 5.00pm on Christmas Eve.

Holiday Cottage Competition – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is "The Granary", located at The Old Mill, Bardney Road, Wragby, Lincolnshire, LN8 5QZ.

2. Eligibility

• The competition is open to entrants aged 18 years or over.
• Employees of the promoter and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
• The prize is not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

3. Competition Entry/Draw

• Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
• The promoter/Owner reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms.
• You must purchase a ticket AND follow our Farm Shop Instagram account @thegranaryfarmshopwragby for your entry to be valid.
• ONE ticket equals ONE entry into the draw- Multiple entries can be purchased. 
• The winner will be picked at random from all eligible entries and contacted by us directly. 
• The winner will be announced on our social media accounts on the 24th December 2025. 

4. Prize Details

• The prize is a complimentary stay at The Cosy Countryside Retreat for 2 consecutive nights.
• The stay is for up to 4 guests.
• The prize includes accommodation ONLY- Bedroom 1 King size bed, Bedroom 2 Bunk beds
• Travel, food, drinks, and other expenses are NOT included.

5. Booking & Availability

• The stay must be booked in advance and is subject to availability.
• The prize must be redeemed by December 1^st 2026.
• The stay is not valid during peak periods, public holidays, or special event dates unless otherwise agreed.
• A maximum 2 night stay.

6. Use of the Property

• The winner must comply with the cottage’s standard house rules during their stay.
• The property may not be used for parties, events, or commercial purposes.
• The winner is responsible for any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required during the stay.
• Dog friendly- Maximum One dog.

7. Security Deposit

• A refundable security deposit of £30 may be required before arrival.
• The deposit will be returned following inspection of the property, subject to no damage or extra cleaning being required.

8. Cancellation & Changes

• Once booked, dates may not be changed except at the promoter/Owner's discretion.
• Failure to attend the booking without notice may result in forfeiture of the prize.
• The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the booking due to unforeseen circumstances.

9. Liability

• The promoter/owner accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, or accident suffered during the stay.
• The winner and guests stay at their own risk.

10. Publicity

• The winner agrees to the use of their name and/or image for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

11. Data Protection

• Personal data supplied during the competition will be used solely for administering the competition and prize fulfilment, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

12. General

• The promoter/owner reserves the right to withdraw, amend, or suspend the competition at any time if circumstances beyond their control make this unavoidable.
• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of United Kingdom.
• Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of United Kingdom.
